We can honestly say that this past year has been the year of flats: different colors, patterns, looks, etc. And let’s face it, flats are practical and comfortable no matter what anyone says. Although some people might not enjoy wearing them, they’re still 2007’s leading shoe!

London Sole’s leopard-print Camilla flat with a sweet red bow adds a wild pizzazz to any outfit. Ideal for dark, skinny jeans, these feline-inspired shoes can also be worn to work with a knit LBD, a white button-down and black pencil  skirt, or an oversized sweater and leggings.

We bet you’ve never seen a flat as sweet as Candie’s Tantrumm Floral before. The exquisite flowery design is nothing like your grandma’s curtains; the vibrant color scheme and use of little extras like sequins, chains and skins make this busy (yet trendy) pair a definite do.The SO Carriage Ballet Flat offers a more refined look than the other daring shoes on our list.
With its clean plaid pattern, this shoe is preppy with just a hint of sass. Wear it with a crisp cream power suit for an office meeting, or with wide leg denim for a more casual affair.

TREND: Monochromatic color

WHO'S WEARING IT: Hilary Swank (J. Mendel dress, Sergio Rossi heels), Karen Elson (Marc Jacobs dress, heels and clutch), Leighton Meester (Elie Saab dress, Jimmy Choo clutch)

HOW TO WEAR IT: Our StyleSpy has given plenty of tips for pulling off fall's monochromatic trend. But recently, celebrities has given us more inspiration. We absolutely adored the way model Karen Elson rocked red from her fiery locks right down to her feathered shoes. Not as fab was Leighton. While the dress was killer, matchy-matchy jewelry and makeup was simply too much.
To get ready for the holiday season, pair the steal 'n' splurge below with red rose heels and a sparkling ruby clutch. Just save the candy apple lips for another outfit.

As temperatures drop, celebrities are putting away their sandals and bringing out their closed toe shoes. This week, the most popular heel was a classic: the black pump. With a platform heel, the shoe was taken to modern elevated heights. Keira Knightley wore it with fall's popular tea-length hem. Paris Hilton went conservative chic in a retro style dress. Emma Watson used the shoe to balance out a sheer feathered frock and Olivia Wilde went simple in all black.

This summer doesn’t have to be all about high heels and uncomfortable shoes, but rather hot summer flip flops that you can pretty much wear with anything including skirts, dresses, as well as jeans. Here are a few of my favorites.

The thong flip-flop is a must have this summer, and I’m sure everyone already owns a pair. Try getting a pair that will match with almost anything. Thong flip-flops with sparkles, little accessories are great summer items.

I absolutely love these flip flop sandals, they’re adorable and you can wear them with anything because they don’t look too casual therefore a summer dress or skirt will go fabulously with themThese jewel adorned flip flops are perfect for a more dressy occasion, without all the heel. They will even look good with a little black dress or just jeans.

This season, we’ve seen some of the hottest shoe and boot trends on the runways ranging from crocodile skin styles to sky-high stilettos and chunky heels. But whether you’re looking to buy designer shoes or something a little bit cheaper, there is definitely something for everyone this season. Keep reading to find out this season’s hottest shoe trends
 Stilettos
Stilettos could never disappear from fashion as there really is nothing sexier. But this season, there’s a little twist. Designers have been adding a little platform at the front making the stiletto even higher than before. Although probably not that comfortable, these styles of stiletto are super sexy and edgy.
Chunky Heels
Whether you love em or hate em, chunky heels are a big hit this season as seen on many runways this past year. Although they don’t look quite as sexy as the thin heeled stilettos, they’re much easier to walk in and 10 times more comfy too!

Tapered Heels
Tapered heels are a slightly different version of chunky heels (kind of a mix in between chunky and stiletto if you will) where the heel starts off thick at the top and slims down towards the bottom. Sure, they look a little out of the norm, but they’re very stylish, modern, and go with almost anything.

Squared Toes
I can’t say I’m a big fan of the squared off toes, but they’re very in this season. But don’t worry, this season’s squared toes aren’t like the ones back in the day…these have a tapered-in toe with a short blunt nose rather than a full-squared toe.

Over The Knee Boots
Last year we saw a big up-rise in over-the-knee boots but in flat styles. This season, you’ll see them again but they’ll be high heeled and made with suede as the material of choice.

Laced Up
Last year we saw a big up-rise in over-the-knee boots but in flat styles. This season, you’ll see them again but they’ll be high heeled and made with suede as the material of choice.

Laced Up

Mary Janes are back this season, but this time with a twist! You’ll see lots of double or even triple buckles with tons of details, different colors, luxe fabrics sharp pointed toes.

Reptile Fabrics

Reptile skins are a huge hit this season and you’ll see everything from snake to alligator to lizard, etc. If you can’t afford to buy the real leathers (which, let’s get real, most of us probably aren’t), just make sure you get a good quality faux reptile fabric.

Is it just me, or is the scarf not a super-versatile fashion item that seems to go with everything? I fell in love with scarves, and shawls when I was a little girl and saw my mom wearing all different kinds and colors. Since then, I’ve been a true scarf girl…with what I now like to call “my collection of scarves”…meaning there are just too many too count and I should probably give some away.

But nevertheless, I can’t seem to part without them and for good reason too. For me at least, a scarf can do wonders for an otherwise boring outfit. And since I don’t seem to have the time to get ready in the morning or the money to update my look every month, I just throw on a favorite colorful scarf and I instantly feel better…more…fashionable if you will.

Anyways, if you still haven’t adopted a few of your own scarves, now is the time to do it, especially with the cold weather right around the corner. Here’s why and how a scarf will immediately jazz up your look:
  • It will draw attention to your face, rather than the rest of your body…so it’s good for days when you don’t really feel like trying too hard
  • Wear a colorful scarf with your less-colorful ensembles for a pop of color and fun!
  • Sporting a longer scarf will actually draw attention away from your problem areas such as your midsection.
  • Last but not least, these babies keep you looking hot and feeling warm!

Cozy up this winter with the coolest accessories around. It’s not always about looking trendy, but rather about being warm and comfortable. But don’t worry, all these accessories scream style and warmth at the same time. A form fitting fur-trimmed coat should be at the top of your list. Not only will this coat protect you from the harsh cold and winds, but it will make you look hot and stylish too. Make sure you snag one with a fur-trimmed hood!
Chunky hats and scarves are all the rage this season. Don’t bother getting leather gloves, or silk scarves; very yesterday!

Matching sets are hot this season so make sure your scarf, hat, and gloves match too!

Lacy who was just a nightgown is now in fact become a trend that occurred in the Europe. The merger between the fabric like an old lace-patterned nightgown with pieces were rather wide and loose-fitting model. The material that appears transparent will make you look beautiful, elite, modern and heat. Used pants paired with black fabric would be more suitable. You also can add a necklace, glasses, bags, as additional accessories will seems more interesting.

WHO: Kelly Osbourne

WORE: A Marchesa dress

WHERE: Hollywood, California

While attending a party celebrating the 200th episode of Dancing with the Stars, Kelly (a veteran of the show) sported a lace appliqued sheath dress with a delicate chiffon drape overlay. Her take on the usually classic and conservative LBD shows that she's really trying to show off her new svelte figure. She decided to forego accessories and wore the risky skin-baring frock with dark, smoky eye makeup, a simple ponytail with blunt bangs, and classic black pumps.

During fashion week, while sitting at the shows with my editor friends from Teen Vogue  and other magazines, I often like to play the game I call "Pick Your Prom Dress." Though we are all well beyond our school-dance years, I'd say may of us regret our prom-dress choice and would love a dream do-over with perhaps that perfect party dress from Oscar de la Renta. I could easily tell you my favorite looks from all the shows so far but I think it's more fun to apply them to how I'd wear them in real life. Though my favorite Paris designers have yet to show, I had plenty to pick from from New York, London and Milan. Here is my prom-dress pick as well as a few more. What's your Spring 2011 Fashion Week prom-dress pick?

Japan has a style all of its own. It’s very unique, creative and personal all at the same time. Japanese fashion stands out because everyone makes their own fashion with their own personal touches. Japanese accessories as well as bags are even more impressive as they have tons of detail, color, and all kinds of fabrics and shapes.

The kimono fabric bag is one of my favorites, although a more traditional style. It is very soft and feminine and goes fabulously with any evening outfit.

Today’s Japanese trends consist of anything fun, creative, and very funky. At the same time, that doesn’t mean tasteless or tacky. Japanese bags have a lot of intricate detail, a lot of different patterns as well as different fabrics.

Talk about a short story! Songstresses Rihanna and Katy Perry both made sure their notice-me-now short frocks - and their lengthy legs - were the center of attention at this week's Kids' Choice Awards! But which singer's dress truly stole the show? Rihanna opted for a floaty nude frock with a plunging neckline, but keeps her signature rock n' roll sensibility by adding sharp shoulders, loads of jewelry and a sleek hairdo. She gets bonus points for jazzing up a simple pair of pumps with some sparkly socks! Katy Perry stayed true to her signature style too. The singer opted for a colorful sparkly frock, and shiny shoes to match! While on many this dress would be too much, Katy pulls it off with her signature retro hair and makeup -- plus a healthy dose of confidence! But which one do you think worked the red, er, orange carpet best.

Sunglasses have a magical way of instantly transforming you and hiding all of the problem areas. So whether you don’t feel like putting makeup on, or you’re hiding tired eyes, sunglasses can be your best friend during that time. Here are the best Latest sunglasses models.

Narrow Chin
Those with narrow chins, such as Victoria Beckham’s, can opt for  round frames that will soften a sharp chin.

Wide Forehead
Cover a wide forehead with a pair of straight-edge framed sunglasses like Kylie Minogue’s.
Long Face
If you have a long face with a high forehead minimize the effect with a pair of large square-shaped sunglasses that will help hide the long face and protect you from the sun too.
Narrow Face
If you have a slender, narrow face, fix it with a pair of round large sunglasses. They’re all the rage this summer plus great for hiding tired eyes.
Angular Face
If you have an angular face like Kate Moss, opt for 40’s inspired aviator sunglasses. They look super chic and will offset a strong jaw.

If there is one thing I have an abundance of it’s bags and purses in every color, every style, and every size. Unfortunately, I only wear one bag, but not to worry, there’s always room for more and my love for bags will continue regardless of my frivolous spending (it is a hobby after all, right?). So if you’re bag obsessed like me, you might want to check out these hot bags for the summer.

The Everyday Bag

This bag from Juicy Couture is the perfect accessory for the whole day. It transitions from day to night easily because of the neutral colors and also looks fabulous with almost anything. Every girl has to have a coach bag at least once in her life. The fine quality will last you for a long long time so you can keep on wearing it and best of all, it looks great with everything and anything.
The Must-Have
This Big Buddha Taylor bag is the perfect bag for practically anything because it’s black, it’s big, so you can fit a lot of junk in there, and it is absolutely adorable.

The Carrier
We all need a messenger bag from time to time, and this one from Lucky Brand is just perfect. It comes in two colors; bourbon and blue tapestry (both awesome colors!) and it’s super soft and super roomy too!

Superstar diva Beyonce is the queen of music and with a figure like hers no wonder she likes to show it off. Beyonce was one of the first women in the 21st century to make women with curves feel proud of their bodies. Figure hugging dresses and shorts need confidence and this is something that Beyonce has in bucket loads.
To be like Beyonce you have to dress the part. The singer is definitely not shy about showing off her womanly curves either on stage or in her personal life. So if you want to dress like Beyonce, choose clothes that are sexy and feminine. For dresses, look for silky, clingy materials in solid colors that hug your curves. When dressing down, go for slim cut jeans and a simple yet feminine t-shirt or top.
Keep the accesories simple but glamorous. Beyonce rarely wears much jewelry. Depending on her outfit, her jewelry usually consists of earrings and a pendant or earrings and a funky necklace. Her choices are minimalist, but tasteful and stylish.

Leather Jacket £100 ASOS
Beyonce teams this jacket with a simple grey tee with a rock and roll pattern on the front, giving this look a little edge. The high street is full of designs similar such as this design from Box.
Grey Skull T-shirt £12 Box
Beyonce adds her usual splash of glamour by mixing this otherwise rock and roll look with a green sequin skirt, just like this one we found at Next.

This leather jacket that Beyonce is sporting is from French designer Balmain, with its trademark exagerated shoulders. This look can also be bought on the high street such as this design below.
To keep the glare of the cameras away from her eyes Beyonce is photographed with her timeless tortoise shell sunglasses. As you can see instead of the usual aviator or rayban style the singer has chosen a more feline cat eye design.
Pointy Cat Eye Sunglasses £10.00 ASOS
Lastly on Beyonces feet she is wearing again a little bit of Balmain, some strappy flat gladiator sandals which are a little bit different than just plain flip flops. Here is our choice of Balmain-esque sandals for less.
Gladiator Sandals £12 Shoe Zone
